Just had my Digital Media test today. Wasn't too bad. 2 more days to go and my last test for Mass Comm and all will be well. Tonight, took a breather and went down to Bateman with some friends for dinner. We all said we wanted to have the Bateman's famous fish head noodle... ha ha! Wow...we really ordered too much. I didn’t do the order this time but think they over ordered. It was so much food sia! But I think all the pressure and exams really made all of our stomach work harder as well and we finished everything in the end nonetheless...ha ha!

2 more days to 80% of freedom!

This week I have been working on my final radio project. Anyway, we are supposed to do a 5 minute interview story on any topic. Our tutor will have to give us the green light before we can actually go ahead and do it. For me actually, during tutorial, I still have not really thought about any topic. So I just said I’ll do about the World's Best Pizza in Perth. If you read my previous entry, you will know that I went up to Little Caesars some time back. Thank God I went and now I have a story. Anyway, I also found out another Pizza chef from this restaurant at Northbridge called Il Padrinos. These 2 chefs have won in international competitons to be recognized as the World's best pizza makers. However, both were unique. Little Caesars' Theo does contemporary pizzas while Nunzio of Il Padrinos does really traditional Italian pizza. So I caught up with them for a chat and interview earlier today. Then in the evening, a bunch of us drove all the way up to Mundaring to Little Caesars cos I need to get some interview and decided to go there for dinner as well. It turned out, all of us had a really great time. The food was great, the company was great. The pizzas were really very different and unique. The cherry on the cake, there are also dessert pizzas. I mean sweet pizzas from Chocolate to Caramel to Ice cream served on the pizza. In all, all of us gulped down about 10 pizzas tonight. And, it wasn’t enough but we reach a point where we have to stop...ha ha! We definitely will be back.

While driving back down from the hills enjoying the Perth City Skyline, something happened. Not really sure what happened but Huiqian’s car tyres exploded along Roe Highway. Wow... we discovered after feeling that the car was shaking too much. I mean look at the picture. It literally exploded!!! Lucky all the guys decided to sit in her car. Imagine if Meisi and Joey were with her. The worst thing is that after stopping by the roadside, Huiqian did not have the right screws for us to change to tyres. Had to called Clifford back (who was almost home) BUT he too don't have the right size screw. Thank God for Jonathan who came to our rescue and gave us all a relief. Cherrios to you Boss! Despite this incident, we were all in very high spirits! The weather was cold and all the guys were out in the cold changing the tyres and the girls were busily taking advantage of the situation taking picture(what were they thinking???). Well, it was an experience. Was fun but those fun stuff that needs to happen only once in your lifetime...ha ha!

Semester is ending real soon. This is crunch time for me. Essays after essays to do. Got so much essays to do this sem, who says Media students are slack. Anyway, got some time to celebrate Sarah's birthday tonight. Went out to have dinner at this place along Canning Highway (near Garden City) called Ipoh Garden. You must have guessed, this place is famous for its Ipoh Hor Fun... very good. But what is better is the Hainanese Chicken Rice. Tried it and I can safely say it's the best I've tasted in Perth... ha ha! Well, it was a surprise for Sarah and she really got a shock when she saw all of us waiting for her in the restaurant...ha ha! Good work to all the people working behind the scene. After dinner, most of them went to watch Da Vinci Code. It Tuesday man, but I rather come back and finish up my essay! Will save all the movies for after week 13...ha ha! Anyone for movies?

Here I am again, writing about my food escapades. Actually, you guys should know my blogging style by now. I record and immortalize all the pictures and events that happen in me and my friend’s life. Well, at least for all of you that are honourably featured on my blog, as long as blogger is always in existence, the World Wide Web is alive, all our memories are kept in cyber space. Come back here in 20 years time and show your kids what you did in Perth when you were in Uni having fun...ha ha!

Anyway, moving on, today went down to Fremantle with the gang. Felt like Little Creatures' beer and dessert. Had dinner before moving on to Little Creatures which was just packed with the weekend crowd. For your information, if you feel like Little Creatures too, may I recommend dinner in any of the really nice restaurants in Freo before adjourning to Little Creatures for some beer and dessert. Anyway, you have to order (of course the beer) but the desserts are seriously good. Highly recommended is the Tiramisu, this is the real stuff with coffee liquor soaked sponge cake and layers of cream and sponge cake. Very nice, eat it layer by layer. Not forgetting as well, the Chocolate mudcake. Definitely for the Chocoholics with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream to complete your beautiful day. See, all of us had such a good time! Cheers!

Monday evening after the first day of the week it was so good to have a sumptuous dinner. Hmm… people keep saying this is a food blog. I think it is seriously becoming one. Well, what’s so bad about it! Ha ha... I have a passion for food anyway. What is your interest? What is your passion? Food is not just food alright... ha ha! It is more than just filling your stomach. Well, anyway, such a good thing for Ian’s parents to come down to Perth and so today we all went to a friend’s place for dinner. Uncle Shi’s house was the place and his wife is just the best cook in Perth…ha ha! She whips up a good meal not even Taurus can beat. Everything from the table were home-made. And I mean home-made down to the every meaning of it. The vegetables were grown from their garden, the fish were caught by Uncle Shi himself, well, except only the prawns and meat were bought. Wow... it was a feast. You should just check out the pictures. We had fresh seafood, fresh vegetables and stuff. The best and weirdest thing of all was cactus. Auntie Shi actually cooked cactus, weird it may sound but I assure you it tasted really good and the first taste isn’t like what is that but rather, "I want more”... ha ha! Besides the food, we had a good time catching up with each other.

Arrrgh……… I missed going to the KTV here! Haiz… got too much assignments to do. Cramping to finish them, so in the end, chose to stay home and finish up some work and giving Karaoke a miss. But nonetheless, went down to Hog’s Breath in the evening for dinner with the gang. Hog’s Breath never fails to deliver some party mood. Walking into the place is like walking into a birthday party with streamers and stuff…ha ha! After having a satisfying steak dinner (I'll return for the burger the next time), went back for some ice cream and just hang out with the gang.

Sunday again today, went to church before heading down to lunch at Tuarus with Weijie's family. Then, went to Weijie's house for some coffee and tea. Didn't expect today to be so long. But it was good though. Came back to take a bath before rushing to Vic park's Makan Makan to have the celebration party for Tiger Pass Gate. The play closed yesterday after 5 successful performance. Had a good time getting to know the cast and crew more today. Yeah! I must say they are all really interesting people. Will look forward to working with all of them again.

Today was a stress day for me trying to squeeze my brain juice to write this Mass Comm essay that is worth 40%. Sharks! Still did not get much out, progressing very slowly though. Then, had to cook a simple and quick dinner cos Meisi, Raine, Joey and Weijie are coming over to have dinner before going for the play, Tiger pass gate, later on. Cooked Korean Curry chicken and Tom Yum Soup. It was simple but surprisingly everyone thought that it was good. Good then, together with Weijie's fried been hoon and drumsticks...ha ha! Yeah!

Then went for the play when everyone enjoyed and had a good laugh at. Headed off to Fast Eddy's for supper before returning back home and crashing on bed.

PS. If you find that some blogs you read are similar, well they are. There's a particular blog which may cover the same events but all is just "friend" here and "friend" there. Well, over at my blog, you can see who these "friends" are. I spell their names out...ha ha!

It's been such a busy week with late nights and stuff. Helping out at Su's play as well. Really fun but tiring as well. Today, was a breather after a presentation that finally ended in Tuesday. Had my last lecture of the week before joining Weijie and my bunch of friends at Sir Walter's for some much needed Capuccino and Wedges. Recently I just really start to appreciate the capuccino. Just using the spoon and slowly sip up the frothe with the chocolate powder on it. Really good, no sugar needed at all. Drink it straight...ha ha!

Anyway, in the evening, went to Weijie's place for dinner. His parents and relatives are here to visit and so we had a good Chicken and roast meat dinner with some chilli mussels as well. Well, don't need to elaborate. A good dinner. Also a good time to catch up with all of them. Got to know a new friend, Judy, as well. Weekend is finally here!
