Just came back from a really good Italian meal. This evening, went shopping with Maryann, Geraldine and Arthur. Went to Garden City as Maryann had to pick up stuff for her Operation Christmas Child. Operaton Christmas Child is a project our church is supporting where each one have to fill up a shoe box with goodies for it to be shipped to less fortunate children around the globe. Is like their own Christmas gift. You have to pack a gift box filled with toys, some food, some things to draw, to hug, to use and to wear. You just need to specify the age and whether you are doing it for a boy or girl. Mine’s already done waiting for it to be wrapped…ha ha! Anyway, we walked around K Mart picking up stuff before walking around Garden City. And guess what, I bought a formal jacket. Bought it off a sale at this shop called City Surf (Ozzie equivalent of Flash & Splash but much bigger). Here they sell all the quicksilver and Billabong stuff. The varieties here are more than those in We shopped till about 9 before we left for Applecross for dinner. We were feeling hungry and Maryann recommended this Italian restaurant called Il Cha( if I’m not wrong). The ambience is nice and they serve authentic Italian food. We just missed to have a bottle of wine. In Ozzie, some restaurants allow you to bring your own wine or beer to consume in the restaurant. Thinking about this is really good and you don’t need to spend a bomb getting expensive wine off the restaurant itself. Anyway, we ordered two pasta and two pizzas. Shared everything among the 4 of us and was so full at the end. Been some time since I ate some good Italian pizza.
